1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pisoni (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Farnit OÜ, an Estonian private limited company (registry code: 16862116).

2. The App

Pisoni is an iOS application that provides AI-powered image compression. It allows you to reduce the file size of photos stored on your device. All processing occurs on-device; no images are transmitted to external servers.

3. Licence

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Farnit OÜ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple-branded devices you own or control. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Rent, lease, or sublicence the App
  • Remove any proprietary notices or labels on the App

4. Free Tier and Subscriptions

Pisoni is free to download. The free tier permits one image compression per day. To remove this limit, you may purchase a Pisoni Pro subscription.

  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and governed by Apple's subscription terms.
  • Prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region and currency.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
  • No refunds are provided except where required by applicable law. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

Free tier limits may be adjusted at any time with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Pisoni only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not use the App to process images you do not have the right to use or modify.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, AI models, graphics, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Farnit OÜ or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the App beyond the licence described in Section 3.

Your photos and images remain your property at all times. Pisoni does not claim any rights over content you process with the App.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: your photos are processed entirely on-device and are never uploaded to our servers.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Farnit OÜ does not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
  • Compression results will meet your specific quality requirements
  • The App will be available on all future iOS versions

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your original images before using the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Farnit OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to goodwill — arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or your current subscription period, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. On termination, the licence granted in Section 3 ends. Sections 6, 8, 9, 11, and 12 survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via the App Store update notes. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
